Ummm..Well I've been having a bad cough and its been hurting where my heart is....and i wanted to know if that is bad?

Today is my first day walking by myself without holding on to someone or something for balance. That was the one thing I wasn't expecting- the total loss of balance in the surgical boot with zero weight on the fore foot. Yesterday I was walking a little independently, but I had to grab onto a counter or I was bent so far over, I was folded in half. Yesterday the surgery was at 6:30 am, and was probably the first time I felt very nervous. When I decided to have my feet fixed, I read some of these forums, did a little research, and understood the potential pain and length of recovery involved, but after I carefully researched and thought everything through, I only thought about how great it would be.
So yesterday I practically had a panic attack in the car.
I felt much better after I was prepping, and I had the nicest anesthesiologist...
