My daughter [age 25; O-neg blood; vegetarian; recent weight loss; history for a couple years of low blood platelets, migraine headaches affecting vision, and anxiety/depression] presently suffers non-stop periods, plus pupils in both eyes suddenly became very uneven in size. CAT scan showed nothing; Dr gave her a week's med to stop the bleeding, but after the 7 days, bleeding resumed. Her pupils returned to normal after several days (resumed wearing glasses vs contacts). Dr also gave her Prozac, her only med now. ANY IDEAS why she should be having all these problems &/or how to cure??

You should post your concern in the "Women's health" section of these boards instead. A lot of ladies there have experienced this and may be able give you advice. There are many conditions that could cause this and if left untreated can lead to anemia. By all means seek out the attention of a good GYN and ask him/her for referrals concerning the other health issues she is experiencing.
