QUESTION-red and purple toes

ok so last year I noticed that my feet were never regularly colored. They were always red. This year it has gotten to the point where they turn even redder than before and sometimes even purple. They don't hurt, burn, swell or anything they just turn different colors. When I elevate them and basically drain them, then they get back to a normal color, but then turn red as soon as i put them down. When I do my makeup in the morning and im standing up they sometimes turn really gross purple and look dead...i can feel it when they do that. Do I have bad blood circulation or something?? Help

Re: QUESTION-red and purple toes

Do they ever blanch in color? So far it sounds like you could have Raynaud's involving your feet. Raynaud's Disease. Not everyone with it experiences tingling or burning but often the limb is cool to the touch and usually it goes spottled red before purple (cyanotic) then, sometimes, it goes back to normal or continues on to a blanched swiss-cheese color because the blood pools (its a problem with the capillaries, they spasm and blood kind of pools for a bit). I have it with my hands but it used to be worse and my lips would go purple.

See a doc if it worries you.

Re: QUESTION-red and purple toes

hmm i did go to the doctors... but he didnt say anything that i didnt already know. he said it wasnt anything to worry about and there wasnt much he could do. all he did was ask me a bunch of questions, he didnt check anything apart from my blood pressure. But it still doesnt seem normal....
