Help. What happens at the consult appt

I post a new thread called "PTT high" and put some questions that I had re: that as well as what happens on the first visit with hematologist.

I found out on Friday from my family dr that I was sent to an hematologist at a major medical university in my state. Apparently, the appt is set for tommorow. It all came fast. They wanted me to have a consult before I headed back to my college town. Plus the specialist that I am seeing is well-known for research in blood disorders.

What happens at this consult appointment? What can I expect? They told me to plan on at least 2 hours for the appt.
