| low wbc count, low rbc count, low grade fever...
I posted a similar question on the general health board, because I have other symptoms and would like those addressed there, with the blood test results taken into account.
But I'm posting here, specifically about the blood counts. I have NO idea about blood counts and would really like as much information as possible!
My wbc count is 4.1. In March it was 6.2, and in December it was 6.7. I know the wbc is only .7 below normal range, but it's 2.1 lower than my last test results showed. Is that a "normal" drop? Do people's wbc counts fluxuate that much when they're healthy?
And should I be concerned about the rbc count? In December, it was 4.07 (at the end of my period), and in March it was 4.4 (just as I was getting ready to start my period). Today my rbc was 3.82, and I'm right in the middle of my cycle. Everything I have researched says this indicates some form of anemia. But my doctor doesn't seem to think so or be concerned at all. So, again, is this a "normal" drop? Do peoples rbc counts fluxuate like that when they're healthy?
I'd appreciate any answers, personal experiences, advice... I have two little girls (age 3, and age 18 mos) and I am terrified of having some horrible disease that would take me away from them (big family history of cancer, heart disease, etc...). Thanks.
