| Re: How do I know if I have a blood clot in my leg?
Hello, there are a number of different symptoms to look out for (I realised from my own experience) but the best way is to check with your doctor. I had a blood clot (DVT) in my right leg, my symptoms were, heavy aching leg, slight swelling, and feeling alittle under the weather. But I know from going to the hospital that they also look out for discolouring of the area where you have pain/ache, breathing problems and tenderness in an isolated area.
If you think you might have one I would see you GP, they'll probably organise a blood test which will tell them if you are likely to have a clot.
Hope this helps, I know worrying about whether you have one can be awful!
