taaira21--A low (MCV), Mean Cell Volume (size of RBC's) may indicate iron deficiency.

I don't know how High you are asking about. A mildly elevated (PLT) platelet count is unconcerning. Normal ranges are 100,000 to 450,000. Platelet counts can increase as an acute phase reactant in response to anemia, inflammation, or infection. Platelets can be *reactive* to blood loss and many disorders.

When I had the two, I was anemic. Good luck to you. FLFLOWERGIRL
