this happened to me. I would bleed for weeks at a time even if it wasn't a period. I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I had pains in my abdomen that were soooo horribly painful. They feel like contractions pretty much. If you had a child you could compare the two. If you have symptoms like this you should see your gyno. I was DX at 15. The docs were clueless for a while because I was so young. My family doc would say it was a female problem but my gyno would say it was something else. Ended up....the bleeded was being cause from swelling in my femaie organs ...they were swelling so bad it was causing blood vessels to burst. So definately talk to your gyno about endometriosis. They will probaly do a laposcorpy to see whats going on it there but don't be worried..its a VERY simple procedure. Hope this helps!
