I don't know as I suffer from the same thing. It gets a burning pain feeling, the area swells at times and then a blue color in the area for a few days. I saw the doctor about it and he said it's just trauma to the area. Some times yes but others it just happens doing nothing. I told him I didn't need a head blow out and was concerned. He said don't worry about it as the vessels are different in the hands than the head. I'm not so sure I buy that. Have you seen anyone?
