Causes for a low WBC?
My wbc for the past few months has been 2.5 the MD said if it stayed so low I might need to get a bone marrow bioposy and see a hematologist. Sees everytime I go to the doctors they diagnose me with something new. My thyroid TSH levels were getting higher each month up to 5.75 and then it went back to normal at 2.7 while my Free t4's have stayed at 14. Then I was diagnosed a few months ago with a subtle case of mitral valve prolapse. Any ideas what may be going on with me? Somewhere deep down I think everything might be contributed to my thyroid even though the doctor says its okay not to really worry about it. So I went for a second opinion and that doctor told me I should definitely still keep an eye on it. My mom has hypothyroidism, so it could very well be me too as it is genetic!
Just thought I would add I am a 29 year old female who wants a baby soon but was told my my MD to wait until everything was fixed with me. Seems I can't get pregnant either as hubby and I haven't used any birth control in over a year and still nothing yet! I've been experiencing extreme fatigue and anxiety as well lately. Not sure if this is something separate or all related to some sort of physical health problem or both maybe?
