blood clotting to quickly???

I was just wondering if blood can clot to fast? I know it's good when your blood clots to stop bleeding, but can it ever be too fast? I have tried to donate blood a couple of times, but before it fills up the bag, it starts clotting up in there and they can't use it and also, when my doctor has taken blood, it will clot up and then show false positive things on my test and I'll have to redo blood work. it has happened quite a few times lately. I was just wondering if it was a disorder or if my blood is being stubborn lol. Thanks

Re: blood clotting to quickly???

Yes, it's very possible for blood to clot too fast, definitely.

Re: blood clotting to quickly???

I have Factor five which is a blood clotting disorder. Simple blood tests can tell you if you have it ! Have them test you for it.
