90 % Carotid Artery blockage
My mother aged 75 has 90% carotid artery blockage. She had a stoke about three years ago... Is carotid endarterectomy surgery recommended for her case..

We have done carotid angio scan done.....can somebody help if i type on this board the report in verbatim...

I don't know about your mom's health status...but my carotid artery was 90% blocked and I had an endarterectomy last July. I was 54 years old. I would ask your primary care physician and see what he is suggesting or if he has suggested a surgical consult? I was out of the hospital the next day.
