What varicose vein treatment would you recommend?
 

I have suffered from varicose veins for years and I was wondering if anyone out there had this treated. What did you use, what was the recovery time, how painful was the recovery... things like this. I have done some research, but interested in hearing what everyone else thinks....

I can't exactly help you with surgical options. In my case, many years ago, the varicose veins in my right leg were bulging and nasty.

Since then, I tried to exercise them away, via power walking one hour per day; and significant daily use of my stepper and my stationary bike.

It's been quite a few years. I am now close to 70. My varicose veins are still bulging and nasty, but they have not gotten any worse and they don't hurt. I don't really know if the exercise has delayed the worsening of the varicose veins, but it sure didn't hurt any.

I had mine removed on my leg in November by Ambulatory Phlebectomy. The recovery wasn't bad at all. I love the result!
