High White Blood Cell Count and High Neutrophils Count
 

I am HIV+ with a cd4 count of close to 900 and an undetectable viral load; however, recently I was diagnosed with an nasty infection of epididmytis, and I waited about 3 weeks before I went to the doctor. He put me on Doxycyclone, and it seems to be working. Although, I have recently done some Internet searches and it shows that the high neutrophil count could be a sign of cancer, but most things that I have read seem to indicate that of the infection which is a bacterial infection. To make this quick, are these counts which are abnormally high most likely due to the epididmytitis infection? Or should I be terribly worried? Also, I have been exercising recently which also says that it may be a cause of a higher neutrophil count.
