9 year old's CRP results

Hiya,

wondered if anyone could help with some results?
My 9 year old son has been really poorly recently, one thing after another including shingles! He is normally very fit healthy but last week was very poorly and ended up at the hosp for blood tests. Results are back and gp said his CRP was 83, she said even with an infection it shouldnt be over 10! she also said his platelets low, but didnt say what level was. She seemed concerned about this crp reading and has ordered them to be retested but we have to wait till his current bout of tonsillitis goes so she can compare levels when he is 'healthier'

Can any one tell help decipher this?

thanks
