Re: Why do my knees get all red and blotchy?
I have had the same exact problem starting when I was in highschool. I think I was 15 at the time.
I went to a few different doctors and no one could explain why. One said that it might be the cartilage rubbing against the bone and is wearing down. Another said it may be a form of arthritis (sp?). I would be sitting down and my knees would turn red and warm.
The last doctor I went to told me it would eventually go away as I get older. However, none of the doctors were sure of why this was happening.
To make a long story short, it did eventually stop by the time I was 25.
The only time it turns red now is if it is very hot out or when I am done taking a shower which I think has nothing to do with the original problem.
Did you always have this problem? If so, maybe it is just heat related.
I never thought I would see that someone had the same problem as I did.
I am curious to know your age if you don't mind.
