| Ossification in foot bones
Does anyone know how this is caused? I had stressed the top of my foot quite badly and it was very painful so my Physiatrist had it x-rayed. He showed me what it looked like. The bones are all very thick with what he called ossification. There was barely any space betweein the bones. It is very painful and has been for years probably since I fractured it 20 years ago.
My hands--all the bones, especially in my palms are so painful I can hardly stand it. I can hardly handle dishes etc. I am wondering if it could be ossification also.
If this were the case, what would be the most likely cause? Thanks for your help everyone...
