Uneven Chest bones on each side (Right part of chest is higher than left)

My chest is uneven and there is no pain, just a little embarrassing taking off my shirt which can get annoying since it's summer and a lot of my friends have pools.
The part of my chest to the right of my sternum is about 3/4"-1" higher than left of my sternum.

I want to know if there are any surgery options or hopefully anything not as extreme.

Hi, I too have uneven chest and it's due to my scoliosis. Do you know if you have scoliosis? It's a curvature of the spine sideways forming a 'C' or 'S' shape. An xray can show if you have it.

If it's really bothering you alot, you can consult an orthopedic surgeon. So if scoliosis is the problem and it's severe, surgery might be needed. If it's mild or moderate, a brace might be worn almost 24hrs daily. However, if you have stopped growing, the brace might not be effective to correct the curvature.

So get an Xray and discuss with the orthopedic surgeon on ways to improve the abnormality of your chest. Good luck.
