stress fracture

I have been non-weight bearing for 5weeks and partial for 1 wk secondary to a tibia stress fracture in my right leg. The pain has returned and I am back to non-weight bearing status. I am very concerned at the lack of healing...but more so because yesterday I started with pain in my left ankle that closely resembles the pain I felt in the beginning of my right leg fracture. What are the chances that I might have sustained a stress fracture now in my left leg as well due to hopping on left leg for the past 6 weeks??? I am having a repeat MRI of my right leg...should I ask him to also do the left?
