I have 2 ankle bones on each foot & the older I've gotten, the worse the pain to even walk. When I put my feet on the ground, they begin to throb. Forget standing or shopping cause I am not able to do it for long periods of time.

i have a simillar scenario, have 2 ankle bones and yes they do hurt specially after a walk or any kind physical exercise i start having a acute pain on the spot just below my ankle. looking for a solution.
by 2 ankle bones, which bones are you talking about?
I had 2 accessory naviculars, or, actually, only one extra one now. what were you inquiring about? I know our situations aren't exactly the same but I just had the surgery for my accessory navicular, so it may be similar? PM me if you have questions

well i have never visited a doc so far but i think its either an extra navicular or may be talus bone...but tell me one think how big was this surgery and how was your recovery..
I had an extra navicular. I had surgery the 18th of May, so that makes me 3 weeks postop. I've had what I feel is a really good recovery so far. I have one screw in my navicular, and I haven't had any of the same pain as I got before the surgery. I'm in a cam-walker for now, but that's because I had a skin reaction to the casting material. Don't worry, it's not that common. I haven't taken any percocet since about 3 days postop, and when I do get pains, it's usually in the incision site and it's just a nagging pain, not a in-tears on the floor pain. If you are interested in the surgery or have any specific questions, feel free to ask.
