Question Osteochondroma -left knee surgery
Hello all!

I'm new to these boards I'm having surgery in 2 weeks for a tumor on my left knee (femur, near joint) that my doc believes is Osteochondroma. I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of how long the surgery takes and what the recovery will be like? I have a 1 year old daughter who is running around everywhere and getting into stuff and I need to plan having helpers afterwards but not sure for how many days. Any advice?

Also, if you know, how long before I can work out/ play sports again?

I know I should have asked the doctor these questions but my mind went blank in his office...

I'd be interested in hearing if you had the surgery and how it went. I've been recently diagnosed with an osteochondroma in the left femur above the knee. I still need to go see a specialist, but would like to know what I could be in for.
