posterior tibial reconstruction post op 18 months

I am currently 18 months post op from a posterior tibial tendon reconstruction and calcaneal osteotomy. I have been bike riding long distances and running one minute intervals for a total of 5 minutes. A couple of days ago after riding my bike my foot started hurting around the incision site. After sitting for a while, I could hardly walk when I got up. The pain was worse than before my surgery. I constantly feel like I have shin splints. Has anyone else had this problem?

thanks
