Serious bone pain Hi everyone. new here. I have developed a new intense pain in my tibula and fibula and sometimes my femur bone. I am waking up from the pain and moaning myself awake. I am often rubbing the leg with my opposite foot in my sleep. It is occurring every day to some degree and now occassionally my hip bones hurt. I am diagnosed with fibro but this is bone pain. Neurotin does not help with the bone pain but the percocet that I take for the neck and shoulder pain for my C5-C7 discetomy and fusion does help. I don't know if this bone pain is related to the cervical fusion or to the fibro or if it is entirely independent issue. Anyone familiar with this type of bone pain? |
Re: Serious bone pain hi, Have you consulted with a doctor or any expert?In-fact, i have this problem but slightly different from yours. |

Re: Serious bone pain This pain sounds severe and you really need to have xrays of involved areas and/or other studies such as bone scan. Some people with Vit D deficiency get significant leg pain at night, so a serum Vit D level could be done as well. It is important to distinguish whether this pain is bilateral (both sides) or just one side. It makes a difference in the causes to be considered. I hope you will see your Dr. and get some tests done. |
