Hi Momylove!
My son sounds exactly like yours - and we asked the pediatrician who sent us to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Thoaracic Surgeons. We went and saw one of them 2 days ago. I am reaaly happy with the appointment. He does have pectus carinatum and she said they have excellent results using the brace for like a year to a year and a half or so. I researched it ahead of time as well. I read a lot about surgery, so I am thrilled about the luck that they have with the brace.
Did you get another opinion? We could stay in contact if you like. Reply back here if interested - if you still check this site - I noticed you posted in JAnuary.
