| Re: My Colon Hydrotherapy Session
Hi there Jenn--
No problem on the questions...ask away! It was very comfortable. After my therapist reviewed my questionare, he gave me a paper gown and told me to remove my shorts and boxers. After he came back into the room, I sat up on the table and he opened the sealed package in front of me, explaining what each piece of equipment was and what he was going to do with it. After he lubricated the nozzle (it was a bullet looking thing, the size of a finger), I laid on my side and he inserted it inside of me. I told him that it felt like I was going to push it out, but he told me that he would hold it to make sure that I didn't.
Once I was laying on my back, he started to fill me with cold water. I could actually feel the water filling up my colon. After that was complete, he started to do this suction thing--I couldnt feel the water circulating inside of me but about 8 times during my session, we did some "fills". He would fill me up and then I would hold it and then release. This resulted in lots of waste being eliminated.
It was extremely professional but be warned, the therapist has his hand practically on your butt holding the tube and working some type of hose. When we were not doing fills, he massaged my lower abdomen to release stuff. It was very relaxing and comfortable.
The only cramping I had was when I was being filled up--it felt like gas pains but they were quickly gone when I released.
I had the same question you did--isnt this just an expensive enima? An enima only cleanses the last 8 inches of your lower bowel-a hydrotherapy session cleans out all 5 1/2 feet of your colon.
