Post cooking with psyllium husks

Does anybody know if this is possible? Does it still work after you cook it?

Thanks for any advice.

I really never thought about it but the object of taking psyllium is to get enough fiber in your system so your bowels work. So, I guess it would work. You certainly cook some fruit and veggies for fiber and that works!!!
Let us know how it works if you try it???

Hi Harry,
Thanks for your replies. I will let you know. Thinking of making a lemon poppy Psyllium muffin! Hate gagging that stuff down in water.

Linda,
My wife has the same problems along with bloating when using the powder --so she take them in a capsule form that we get from the Vitamin Shoppe. They sell the largest cap that I have found ---I think they are 880 mgs but you can buy them from most health food stores.
You can buy psyllium in wafers also but they are a little costly.

Harry
