Here is the information:

Oil of Oregano does act like a natural antibiotic. There is a brand, Puritan's Pride.

For info on the properties of the oil and what a great job it does on infections, etc. get the book
"Cure in the Cupboard."

The important thing about Oil of Oregano is to get the European kind. The domestic type is not as strong.

Tomorrow I will be getting to the bookstore to do a little reading about it. I have not been able to find it in any stores near me, so I will order it online.

Many years ago when I used to waitress I remembered a night I couldn't stop going to the bathroom. I worked for Greek people and was in the process of telling one of them that I thought I would have to leave due to this. This manager was always joking around so when he told me to put oregano in the tea I had starting drinking I thought he was kidding. He was very serious and went to the other side of the kitchen to get some and put a pinch in my tea. I don't know if it was a culture thing but it worked and I was thankful and surprised! I had forgotten all about it till I read this. Maybe I should carry some with me now.
