Thanks for answering my last question and I have another one for you... This morning when I had my first bowel movement I only passed one stool. This one stool was softer, but mixed in with it was a harder piece of stool. It was weird because the stool was light brown, but it had this one piece of darker brown stool mixed in with it. Is it normal with Metamucil to have one stool that is soft, but has harder pieces of stool mixed in?
The kind of stools that you pass has a lot to do with the kind of food that you eat on a daily basis and this can produce different coloured stools. It is perfectly normal, so just carry on taking the Metamucil and try and relax about this. I am sure you will feel a lot better if you can.
I understand that stools can be different colors. BUt in my bowel movement I only had one stool come out, and this one stool was different colors. The one stool was light brown and soft, and the same stool also had harder darker parts embedded in this soft stool. I am not referring to multiple stools being one color, but one stool being multiple colors.
