Post Lactose and spicy food intolerant

Hello all, I am back with a question for you. About 2 to 3 weeks ago I started taking Metamucil, (Thanks Harry)and have seen a improvement, but my stools are still in development. Anyhow, lately when I eat Mexican (I like spicy foods) or dairy products I get either loose stools or diahrea as well as an upset stomach. Is this due to the Metamucil? If not what is the deal?

Hi lawman,
It not caused by Metamucil. It sounds like food intolerances. Food intolerances can be developed at any age. What you have to do is ID the foods and eliminate them from your diet. After some period of time, you may be able to tolerant them again in the future????
I'm glad the Metamucil helped !!!

Take care---Harry

I agree with Harry. It is not the Metamucil, but the spicy food and the dairy. Cut these out of your diet and hopefully you should not have diarrhea and an upset stomach.
