2 DAYS BEFORE EXAMINATION

1) Diet - Regular until 7 PM, then clear liquids.


2) At about 7 PM, take 3 Visicol tablets with at least 8 ounces of water every 15 minutes

until 20 tablets have been consumed. The last dose will be only 2 tablets, for a total of

20 tablets.


THE DAY BEFORE THE EXAMINATION





1. Diet - Clear liquids only. Clear liquids include water, Jello, clear juices,clear soup, soda,

coffee or tea; NO milk products.

2. By 7 PM, take 3 Visicol tablets with at least 8 ounces of water every 15 minutes until 20

tablets have been consumed.

The last dose will be only 2 tablets, for a total of 20 tablets.

3. If you feel nauseated take 2 Reglan tablets, this can be repeated after 4 hours if the

nausea persists.

4. Take 4 Dulcolax tablets before going to bed If they gave you any of these tabs.


This is one set of instructions I found for these tabs. If you remain confused call your pharmacist and ask him to WRITE it all down step by step for you so you can see it in black and white then cross off or use a highlight marker when you complete each step.
