The symptoms for Colon Cancer are as follows:
A change in bowel habits such as diarrhea, constipation, or narrowing of the stool that lasts for more than a few days
A feeling that you need to have a bowel movement that doesn't go away after doing so
Bleeding from the rectum or blood in the stool
Cramping or steady stomach pain
Weakess and tiredness
Just because one might have some of these symptoms does not mean that they have cancer.
However, it dos mean that attention needs to be paid to ones health and have a colonoscopy and blood test run.
According to the American Cancer Society, the rising incidence of Colon Cancer relates back to the lack of serious consideration that tends to look too lightly on the early detection signals.
Remember, where cancer is concerned early detection saves lives.
My husband had a sudden, never happened before, bout with bloody bowels.
He had a colonoscopy and it turned out to have a tiny but deadly precancerous polyp that needed to be removed.
So, with colon cancer it's not a numbers thing.
It's being aware of the warning signals and then moving forward to address any problems.
