It was recomended on this site to refrigerate acidolifulus. What is a brand that you can buy from the frig section? All I see in the stores are the ones that sit on the shelf are these good or should they be avoided?
If you don't keep them in the fridge they will be less effective. They are bacteria after all and heat kills bacteria, which is why they should be kept cool.
