Severely Bloated!! please help!!! - Bowel Disorders Message Board

Hi I have had IBS now for 2 months and I am also taking Zelnorm for it. I am also taking metamucil tablets and a daily vitamin. I am still severely bloated and i look horrible. I have never in my life have looked this bloated before. i want to know what i can take to stop the bloating. Please someone tell me what to do. thank you so much

check for parasites in Great Smokies laboratories+ make a test for C.Difficile separetly(it can occure as a result of antibiotics or can come as co-infection)
Follow this programm and you will find out the reason

I have the same problem and nothing works for me..not even prescription librax. To get my bloating to go down (because it is poop I am filled with..ewww), I have had colonics and take laxatives. I posted a message on this board about how to not take those measures but nobody has written back.

To check for infections is a first step,if its negative check for coeliac(milk intolerance) and Crohn's desease. After this if its negative-colonoscopy,gastroenteroscopy,barum enema (small bowel through)

Also be sure to keep your digestive flora healthy by using yogurt with live active cultures or take acidophillis capsules routinely. You can also try peppermint oil too as this can sometimes help. Also if you feel the bloating is caused by gas use beano drops on your food and consider using bicarbonate of soda aka baking soda. The directions for using baking soda for gas are on the box.
