| Re: Worried about bf
SadGirl, Your BF's in the right place. I'm sure he'll get a diagnosis pretty soon. In the mean time, take care of yourself. I really feel it's a lot worse on a loved one rather than the patient. In times like you are faced with, I tend to prepare myself for the worse possible scenario. In his case, the worse possible scenario is cancer. Even if he does have cancer, please rest your mind that cancer is NOT an automatic death sentence any more! More than likely, his diagnosis will NOT be cancer. Just be thankful that he's getting the proper attention. Most men usually try to hide their symptoms for a long, long time until they are "pushed up against a brick wall". The weekend is a bad time to get test results back, get docs and equipment lined up to do tests, etc.. so I wouldn't let it bother you too much that he's still there. Also, the weekend is a bad time for trauma patients and their tests always come first. Again, take care of yourself and please let us know how he's doing. My thought and prayers are with you both.
