Red face Worried about this...help!!!

Hello, i am 14 years old and recently i have had a problem. Over the last few months, ive noticed a tiny amount of blood on the toilet paper i use. i didnt pay much attention, since it was barely any and would only get bigger the more i wiped. so 2 days ago, i was using the restroom and i had some really bad pains, and it felt like something was comming out that was too big or something and it hurt, so then i noticed some blood that was in the toilet. it must have dripped off because it was mixing into the water. ever since, it has been hard for me to use the bathroom, becuase it hurts when i try to go, and every time i have gone there has been much more blood on the tissue. i have never participated in anal sex or have done anything to my anus to cause this. im not sure what it is and im realllllly worried. is it a hemroid? or what? can hemroids go away on their own? at first i thought i was bleeding internally but theni remembered the little bump around my anus the few weeks before and thought it could be a hemroid. please give me any info you have or advice!PLEASE REPLY ASAP! thank you!

Re: Worried about this...help!!!

hey there! I know how scary it can be to see some blood on the paper... and how much worse it is to see it in the bowl!!!

The symptoms sound very similar to a hemroid. Nonetheless, you should go to your doctor and have him/her check it out - dont let it go undiagnosed. You're really young so its probably nothing too bad. According to my doctor, hemroids never really completely go away... you always have the possibility of it inflaming depending on how you treat your body and diet... but inflamations will come and go. Its important to use some ointment and eat lots of fiber and water to keep your stools soft. Its nothing THAT bad.

Best wishes!

Re: Worried about this...help!!!

i would say it is prolly a hemorrhoid if u've noticed "little bump" around anus or if u have had history of straining during bowel movement..... i had my first hemorrhoid when i was 12!... i sort of ignored it for a while and it didnt bother me much until lately and now im 22. Last weekend i had surgery done to remove them. But if ur young and blood loss isnt significant, try to do the dietary modification/ eat more fiber/ exercise first. (bc im telling u....surgery reallie sux) Dont strain during BM!
i know it must feel horrible and embarrassing but i still strongly recommand u see a doctor just to get a peace of mind and rule out any other causes.

Re: Worried about this...help!!!

yeah i was worried about a lump on one of my testicals and i had to go to my parents/doctor about that, so im not too worried about that part, although this is a little worse lol. i do exercise and eat healthy. i did put some neosporn on it when it first showed up, it didnt help much cause it keeps bleeding and hurting when i do go. will drinking lots of water help with stool movement? thanks
