WWWM,
Please try not to worry...you will soon have your answer...
There was 2 things I used to worry about constantly. The first...being audited by Internal Revenue and the second...husband or me developing cancer. Well, 30 years ago that dreaded letter came through the mail and the audit turned out to be a piece of cake. For my second worry, cancer...in August of 2004 husband was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Small tumor that was removed and hasn't come back as of last cystoscope in February. That first week was the pits...we felt like we had been kicked in the stomach. But, after that, it was o'kay....we aren't going to lay down and play dead...we have our lifes to live and we're going to make the most out of it! In the end, we realized family and friends took it worse than we did. But now they take the attitude we have!
I really, really, really don't think you have anything to worry about but "worry itself". The fact that you think it may be cancer and are doing something about it by getting the test done leads me to believe that IF, and that's a big IF, you do have cancer, then you too will find the strength and courage to deal with it and this may sound weird, but you will be stronger because of it! There's just too many wonderful things happening in the world of medicine now days...just ask the many, many, many colon cancer survivors!
Take care and please let us know the results of your tests....we'll give you Monday night off because you will be sleeping like a baby, but you better get yourself out of bed Tuesday am with a report!
