| Flat Stool, itching, trace of blood
I had a diviticulitis operation last Winter and had a temporary colostamy. Then in Feb I got reconnected and got back to normal. Anyway I have been noticing my stools are flat too. They did a barium enema (Lower GI) in Jan 2005 prior to my reconnection and saw NO spreading diesases...
Is flat stool a thing to worry about? Its the correct color and its also sometimes small. Almost as little as Cat stool. About a month ago I had some trouble going to the bathroom and thought I was constipated and strained VERY HARD the next day I started having a feeling that something was expanding in my colon or rectum....it HURT for about a minute and then I started seeing a trace blood on occasion under and on my stools. Even when I would wash back there sometimes a little bit of blood was on my wash rag not much blood just a tiny speck. The docor said it was probably a hemmroid....but he didn't look. Im worrying too.
Anyone have any clue? Flat stool? after surgery....trace of blood....itching? weird? Any of you have flat stool after bowel surgery?
