| Re: versed, any info safety etc?
Chester4, do you have a history of drug reactions????? I have read some of your other posts and you need to seriously find a way to chill. Does your doctor know how freaked out you are about this test? I thought for sure your husband's easy time would help you relax a bit. Every thing in life has risk attached. I have never heard of anyone being seriously harmed by a colonoscopy. However, I have read and heard many stories about people whose lives could have been saved by a colonoscopy. You are so lucky to have lived this long and never had any health problems that would have required diagnostic tests before now. That alone should give you reason to expect a good outcome, not think the worst. Perhaps after your colonoscopy you should get an appt with your regular doctor and discuss your anxiety issues, that could end up being a more serious problem for you than whats going on in your colon. I certainly wish you the best, and hope you can stop worrying about every little detail of the procedure. If you have chosen a competent GI, then you have nothing to worry about. Be sure to post about the outcome, I am betting afterwards you will be kicking yourself for spending so much time worrying. Good Luck!
