| Twisted colon.
I had my colonoscopy yesterday, slept through the whole thing. I was very groggy when the doctor talked to me, so I did not ask some questions that I wish I had thought of. He did not really see any reason why I should have diarrhea but he said my colon was longer than is normal and that it was twisted. He said they had to roll me around a lot to get the scope through. Apparently he does not seem too concerned about it as he does not want to see me for 3 months. He increased my Bentyl from 3 times a day to 4 times a day.
Has anyone out there had their colon twisted? Does anyone know how it gets twisted? I have had 3 prior colonoscopies done by 2 different doctors, and neither of them mentioned my colon being longer than normal or any twists. Neither of them said anything about having any difficulty geting the scope through?
I would appreciate hearing from anyone knowing anything about this!!
