Question every time i eat

sorry to sound so graphic but everytime i eat i have a loose bowel movement. its sometimes diarehea but usually just real loose. is this something to be concerned about and see a dr? i have a history of ulcers in my colon but not ulcerative colitis. any input would be appreciated tremendously. thank you.

Re: every time i eat

It's an autoimmune disease in which gluten (found in wheat, rye, and barley) damages the intestines. It causes a whole bunch of symptoms. My main symptom was constant diarrhea and abdominal pain. I was diagnosed through a simple blood test. Started a gluten free diet and have been almost like normal. I've been 100% gluten free for almost 6 months now...hard in the beginning but definitly worth it.

Re: every time i eat

I had this annoying symptom for months and it turned out I was hyperthyroid. (Discovered only after multiple normal GI tests.) You might want to be checked for it - it's a simple blood test called a TSH. Since getting it treated I've been fine.
