Kind of gross, but bare with me - Bowel Disorders Message Board

This is kind of gross but bare with me. It seems that part of my bowel sticks out . I had a simliar problem with my first pregnancy, but now with this pregnancy it seems even worse. It is like I have push my bowel back in through out the duration of the day. I have had alot problems with constipation and hemorrhoids. If anyone has has this or something similiar any advice would be great.

My best friend had a similar problem. She thought she had an internal hemroid preventing her from going regularly and eventually she could feel it blocking the hole. Eventually she found out that her colon was coming loose insider her body and that was what she was feeling "coming out" when she pushed etc.... she had to have surgery to have it reconnected to where it was supposed to be. It was a pretty rough time for her. You migth want to have it checked out.

Thank you for the reply. I did some searching of my own and it what it sounds like is that it is infact part of the bowel sticking out. Kind of like a hernia but in your rear end. I see my doc on the 4th so I will bring it up. It seems to be more common in women. If it is infact what It appears to be surgery will have to be done. I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and having a protruding bowel would not be a good thing during labor.
