My 10yr old daughter, eats healthily, drinks plenty,mostly water and is very active. But 2 months ago developed severe abdominal pains, initially diagnosed as gastro enteritis but became worse and in hospital an x-ray showed faeces accumulating in the right side of her bowel. She was sent home to have 8 sachets of Movecal daily plus Benefibre. She has since had 2 enemas which resulted in the passing of small amounts of loose motions. For the past wk she had been in hospital on fluids only and given Klear meds every other day, she passed watery diarrahea approx. 10 times daily. But nothing significant, she has lost over half a stone during this 2 month period despite having a good appetite. She has now been discharged, the doctors admitting they don't know what is wrong, i feel helpless, can anyone help?
