Any one had Haemorroid injected? - Bowel Disorders Message Board

Hi, just wondering has anyone ever had their Haemorroids injected?
I was having severe pain with BM and a lot of blood loss. When I went to the Dr he examined me(very painful!),and told me I had a huge haemorroid and that he was going to inject it( not painful). For 10 days all pain was gone but now i have blood again.
Wondering whether ill have to have it injected again?Anyone have similar experiences?

Hi Mac14,

I would have a colonoscopy to make sure that you don't have any polyps that's making you bleed. I've never heard of the procedure that was conducted in your doctor's office, but I would push for a colonoscopy.
