Feeling dizzy - Bowel Disorders Message Board

I have been feeling dizzy for over a week. It comes and goes, and when it comes it would last for a few seconds. It has happen when I am just sitting at my desk at work, or when I am walking around, or the typical when I am getting up from stooping. I also feel there is a correlation of when I am dizzy and needing to go to the bathroom to do a bowl movement. I don't know what could be causeing it. I did finally go see a doctor, he took blood, the results should be in within a week. I am researching in the mean time. Any ideas?

I have been having those symptoms for about 2 months now. I also notice that after I have a bowel movement I am really cold and have the chills. I went to the doctor last week because I had noticed blood in my stools. My blood tests are only on the 15th. Would you be able to post your results? Just so that I can know what it is that I might be looking at. Only if you don't mind.

I don't have blood in my stool anymore, I use to, and I started taking a supplement after the doctors told me it was hemmoroids, so there has been no blood for over two months. But lately I have been thinking even though there has not been any blood in some time that I should go for more test with the butt doctor. The dizziness started almost two weeks ago. I will let you know the results. Thanks for the feedback.

Just wanted you to know that the cause of my dizziness was due to low iron. I am happy it was not too serious. Good luck with everything

I'm really happy to hear that it is nothing very serious. I'm still waiting for my results. But I'm a little scared, after I had my blood tests they called me back and told me to go for more. Not sure what that means, but I'll find out on Tuesday.
