Oh! the sore, burning pain.
Six months ago, for the first time I encountered pain from bloating and constipation. It freaked me out, the pain wasn't localized at the time (It was my entire abdomen in pain). At the time, I rushed to the ER - thinking I might have appendicitis. The doctors did an ultra sound and blood test, but everything came back negative. I was told to increase my fiber intake. It didn't work instead I started belching alot like a mad man. but the pain went away after a few weeks (may be from drinking lots of water - not sure) and all was normal.
Anyway, two months ago, the constipation came back, and this time it became more localized just underneath my rib cage on the extreme right of my abdomen. I tried changing my diet, lost 40 pounds by excercising, increased my water intake; although, things got a little better, it has gotten worse since last week. This time, the constipation has now combined with a sore burning pain.
The pain has now localized from just underneath my rib cage along the right side of my abdomen to the top of my waist. I am too scared to eat cos the pain gets worse after eating. The pain feels as if something is literary eating up my intestine. Afterwards, I get bloated, I feel I should pass stool to releave the pain. When I pass stool, the stool is very little and smells really bad. Although, I get a little less bloated after passing stool, the sore burning pain remains. It gets worse when I lie down. Pls, help.
