I am kind of new to having hemmorhoids... I was wondering if someone could explain them briefly for me? And also, do they always require surgery? I've had a hemmorhoid on and off for about 2 years ... most of the time it will go away and come back. Lately it hasn't gone away, and I admit that I haven;'t really tried any wipes or creams because I was just expecting it to go away.. but it just hurts SO bad! And sometimes I will get kind of scared at how much it bleeds... should I get it checked out? Who would I go to, just my regular doctor? And also, this is kind of gross, but I felt around and there is a little pouch it feels like almost, with maybe a liquid in it? It's small... what would that be? I'm sorry I'm so un-informed, no one I talk to really knows what they are talking about and every time I go to my doctor's I forget to ask her about it. Everyone tells me it's normal and it will go away but it really hasn't, and I've been reading some of these threads - I didn't know they require surgery! thanks all
