finally asking someone....

Hello everyone! I hope this post finds everyone well. Ok hear goes...
Ever since I had my first son ( nine years ago ) I have had hemorrhoids. They did not really bother me too much for a good seven years. The last two years they have been bothering me. I have had alot of blood on and off in the toliet after a BM ( no pain ) so that always suprises me when it happens. I had back surgery two months ago. My hemorrhoid(s) have been giving from major to mild pain when I go. I have been using medicated wipes and suppositories they seem to help for a while, but they keep coming back and they are uncomfortable to painful at times. I have stomac problems so I eat pretty good, don't eat much grease and red meat. I drink alot of water in the day. So I have put alot more fruits, veggies, & fiber in my diet. Does anyone know how to shrink or get rid of these hemorrhoids? Or why their is alot of blood sometimes ( it always goes away after a few days ) What causes flare ups? I don't strain, I go everyday like clockwork. Hoping that someone knows of something I can do for this pain in the rear ( sorry could not help that ). Thanks for reading this. Take care.

Re: finally asking someone....

I also got hemrrhoides after my daughter was born 40 years ago.First they were only inside and then they would come out after a BM.I also for years had a lot of blood after every bm that did worry me but doctors in those days said it was normal and thankfully for me that is what it was.For the last several years I will not strain and only give myself 10 min to go if I don''t I will at some point.Just the straining and sitting down will make your hemmorhoids bleed. I have had no blood since I have done this and my hemmorides do not bother me as much either. Ask your Doctor first if it might be something else that causes you to bleed like I said 40 years ago they just assumed it was hemmorhides

Re: finally asking someone....

Thanks Lorriem for your reply! I suppose you have answered for the masses. I will at some point ask a doctor ( so embarrased ) that is what it boils down too, so embarrased. Hope this pain in the "you know what" turns out to be nothing. Thanks again.
