How do you relieve pain in lower intestine?

I had beans at lunch and dinner yesterday, I don't normally eat a lot of beans. Last night and today I feel miserable. I am having quite a bit of pain in the lowest part of my abdomen. I took gas-x, but have since read this morning that those meds don't help with the gas in the intestine, only the stomache. Does anyone have an idea how I can relieve the pain?

I went through the same thing with Fiber Supplements......GasX did a little but you are right, more for stomach than intestines. I finally drank some prune juice and that seemed to rid me of the gas (and more!!)

Hope this helps.

Dave

PS: Watch the beans.....unfortunately anything good for you can cause gas...Go figure!
