Naproxen induced intestinal bleeding...

Hi,
Has anyone ever had intestinal bleeding due to a side effect of naprosyn?
Will it go away if I discontinue use of the med? Thanks

Re: Naproxen induced intestinal bleeding...

THis drug as you know is a NSAID and can irriate and inflame the stomach and intestines and can cause bleed in some people that are sensitive to it and use it for a long time.
Use of inflammatory type drugs is the cause of 15% of stomach ulcers.

You may need to be treated if you are bleeding too much.
Stop using it may help if you have not been using it too long.

I suggest you see your doctor!!
