Hemorrhoids and childbirth?

I have internal hemorrhoids, when I use the restroom they I guess prolapse(I think thats the right word) They seem to be getting a little worse but they still go back in after a little bit. My question is, when I have a baby in the next few years, will they become horribly worse? I hear of a lot of people getting them from childbirth, but if you already have them, what happens?

Re: Hemorrhoids and childbirth?

i'm not sure about what happens if you already have a hemorrhoid problems but not all women get hemorrhoids after giving birth. i did after my first son was born but not the second. the docs usually prescribe stool softners so when you pass a bm the first time its not so painful.
